The Peruvian Embassy in Germany held a special event in Berlin to showcase Ollantaytambo's culture and tourism. The event took place in the Maria Reiche Hall. Visitors learned about the town’s unique architecture, stunning landscapes, delicious food, and ancient traditions.
Peru’s ambassador, Augusto Arzubiaga, spoke about the country’s rich history. He highlighted Ollantaytambo as a living treasure of the Inca Empire. He also explained its role as part of the Tahuantinsuyo, one of the most important pre-Hispanic societies.
Cultural ambassador Aurora Román led the event. With 20 years of experience in tourism, she guided the audience through the program. Guests watched videos, received information materials, and enjoyed live Andean music by Cusco artist Jean Pierre Negron. The mayor of Ollantaytambo, Paull Palma, shared a special message with the audience.
More than 70 people attended the event. Many came to learn about Ollantaytambo’s beauty and traditions.
