Ultimate Trekking began in 2017 with one simple goal: to help travelers experience Peru in a real, easy, and well-organized way. We’re based in Cusco City, where most journeys to Machu Picchu start. From here, we run treks and tours that take you beyond the usual sightseeing—so you don’t just “visit” a place, you truly feel it.
We’re outdoor people at heart, and we love what we do. Our trips focus on trekking, hiking, and camping adventures that bring you closer to nature and local culture—at a pace you can actually enjoy. Great trip with an awesome guide, Johnny!
This was a once in a lifetime experience for me, and it was amazing! Johnny was a great guide that treated us all like family. He and the cook even baked a cake on my fiancés birthday. Speaking of cake, I ate better on this trip than I do at home. The food and experience was so good from picking us up from our hotel, the driving, gear provided, and history lessons along the trail. I highly recommend it.

Awesome trip with awesome guide (Johnny) and crew
This trip was fantastic from start to end. Johnny picked us up from our hotel, which was really nice. It is simply incredible how hard the porters, cooks, and guides work to make this experience premier. The food was fantastic, you will not go hungry, I can promise you that. Johnny gave very Insightful lessons about the Inca sites and culture along the way. Two of us had birthdays during the trip, and the cooks made a huge cake to celebrate. Most of all, Johnny made us all feel like one big family during our trip. I’m going to remember this forever and I would highly recommend Johnny as a guide and this company as a whole.

Fun, interesting tour with a Great Guide
We had an amazing trek, wonderful porters, a chef, and equipment. They really did a good job organizing the Inca trail for us. Our tour guide was Coronel and we can´t say enough things about him, his passion, love, attitude really made the difference. Our chef Mario, he prepared amazing meals for us and even baked a cake on the last day, I don’t know how he did it in the middle of nowhere. Our Porters running up to the mountains with such a heavy bags, they really inspired us to complete this Epic Journey. Thanks for this once-in-a-lifetime experience Ultimate Trekking!!

Our equipment
We use clean, high-quality camping equipment on our treks, so you can feel comfortable and safe on the trail. The exact gear depends on the tour you choose, but it always meets our standards.
Equipment includes: tents, dining tents, tables and chairs, portable toilets, oxygen tanks, first-aid kits, and satellite phones.
