The international summit will bring together hundreds of leaders from member economies. This is a great chance to show Peru as a friendly partner for business and trade.

Through this campaign, we will share Peru’s sustainable destinations and responsible tourism practices. The goal is to help grow our local economy and boost national tourism.

Some top tourist spots include: Machu Picchu and Choquequirao (Cusco); Colca Valley (Arequipa), Lake Titicaca (Puno), Paracas and Nasca (Ica); the beaches in the north; Moche Route (Lambayeque); central jungle (Junín, Pasco, and Huánuco), Cajamarca, along with short trips around Lima and nearby areas.

Also, thanks to Promperú's platform “And What About Your Plans?”, people can access 36 activities that blend traditions, knowledge, and customs with nature and adventure. Travel packages, festivals, and events will be available to the public.

By the end of 2024, tourism is expected to create 1.3 million jobs and contribute 2.9% to Peru’s GDP, higher than the 2.5% recorded in 2023.
