Desilú León, head of Mincetur, will travel to the United Kingdom to attend the international fair World Travel Market (WTM). There, you will promote Peru as a tourism and filming destination.
Her trip will be from November 2 to 7. During these days, Desilú will join various activities that will benefit Peru's tourism sector and improve its image abroad. Among them, she will attend the 18th edition of the WTM Minister Summit, which will take place on November 6 in London.
At this summit, tourism leaders will discuss key topics like artificial intelligence and technology in travel and hospitality. These discussions are important for the growth of the sector. You will also have the chance to connect with professionals, make deals, and learn about the latest trends.
Peru has been part of this fair since 1993. This year, the country will have a stand with local companies, such as tour operators, hotels, airlines, and transport firms. They will showcase our peruvian food and give talks about destinations within Peru.
Lastly, the minister will meet with the director of the British Museum and British tourism representatives. The goal is to find collaboration points and strengthen ties between both countries.
