Peru is getting ready to amaze the world at FITUR 2025, the International Tourism Fair happening in Madrid from January 22 to 26.
Promperú, along with 30 Peruvian travel companies, will showcase the country’s stunning landscapes and exciting adventures. They will also highlight sustainable travel as one of the hottest trends.
One of the main attractions will be the Inti Raymi celebration brought to Europe for the first time. Visitors will enjoy a unique cultural display with traditional dances, music, and colorful outfits that show Peru’s rich heritage.
Food lovers will have the chance to taste Peruvian food. The event will include tastings of coffee, chocolate, and pisco, as well as interactive sessions with typical Peruvian ingredients.
Leading the Peruvian delegation is Desilú León, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism. She will be joined by María del Sol Velásquez, head of Tourism Promotion at Promperú, and Joan Barrena, Peru’s Economic and Trade Advisor in Spain.
This event shows Peru’s strong focus on international tourism. It supports the country’s economy while promoting fair and sustainable growth across all regions.
