PromPerú and Studiocanal, with the Peruvian Embassy, hosted this evening to promote the film and strengthen the friendship between the two countries. Many special guests attended, including Dougal Wilson, the movie's director, Rosie Allison, the producer, and actors Hugh Bonneville and Samuel Joslin.

Ignacio Higueras, the Peruvian Ambassador, welcomed everyone with a speech. He shared how Paddington Bear has become a symbol of kindness and friendship between Peru and the United Kingdom. "Paddington," he said, "represents goodness, resilience, and multicultural friendship."

Ricardo Romero, director of PROMPERÚ in London, talked about how the movie could attract tourists to Peru. In this new film, Paddington returns to his homeland, Peru, and takes viewers on a journey to see famous places like Lima's Historic Center, the charming town of Aguas Calientes, and Machu Picchu in Cusco.

During the event, guests enjoyed traditional Peruvian treats, including Paddington’s favorite, aguaymanto jam sandwiches. Paddington himself made an appearance, taking photos with the crowd, creating happy memories for all.

In closing, Romero reminded everyone how this movie invites people worldwide to experience the beauty of Peru on the big screen. "Paddington in Peru," he said, "is not just a film; it’s a way for the world to explore the wonders of Peru."
