Following that, they posthumously honored José Miguel Felipe Correa Suárez, recognized as a Meritorious Personality of Culture. They also paid tribute to Felisciana Pocco Huamaní for her work promoting various cultural expressions, such as the event "Andean Music, Music that Transcends."

In the same spirit, the Decentralized Directorates of Culture also organized commemorative activities. The DDC Cusco presented the book "Sabiduría Ancestral Altiva Canas" at the Provincial Municipality Auditorium. Meanwhile, the DDC Loreto will hold the cultural artistic event "The Reality of Folklore in Iquitos," scheduled for today at 7:00 p.m. at the Amazon Museum.

Other regional entities have focused their activities on dance performances, such as the DDC Ica with the folkloric dance festival “Llaqtapa Miski Tusuynin” starting at 5:00 p.m., or the "International Folklore Day Dance Festival" by DDC Cajamarca, scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

For those just joining the celebrations, more activities are planned for the week. Some include the concert "United Rhythms and Culture without Borders" on August 23 and 24 in Lambayeque, the "Second Ruraq Maki Sales Exhibition" from August 28 to September 1 in Ayacucho, and the "Spondylus Festival" in Tumbes on August 30.
