The Cusco Regional Government, through GERCETUR, met with artisans from all 13 provinces to finalize details for their participation in the 2024 Santurantikuy Folk Art Fair. The fair will take place from December 22 to 24 in Cusco's Plaza de Armas.
Mag. Rosendo Baca Palomino, head of GERCETUR, led the meeting on behalf of Governor Werner Salcedo. He praised the artisans for their hard work in preserving traditional crafts and boosting tourism in the region.
The event included a Christmas breakfast and a motivational talk to inspire the artisans. A raffle was also held, giving away P.O.S. devices to make sales and electronic payments easier during the fair.
